Rich Capen joined VCFA in 2007 and focuses on sourcing secondary purchase opportunities. Prior to joining VCFA, Mr. Capen ran the finance group at MARGI Systems, a multimedia systems company, and helped engineer its sale to Harman International. Prior to that, he was a General Partner with Capstone Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in technology and health care companies. He also served as an Associate with The Milhous Group, a private equity firm investing in commercial printing and other manufacturing industries.

Mr. Capen holds a B.S. in finance from The Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
