Steven Taubman joined VCFA in 1998 and focuses on originating, analyzing and negotiating investments. Mr. Taubman is also responsible for investment research and investment performance monitoring and reporting.

Prior to joining VCFA, Mr. Taubman held an equity research position at Standard & Poor’s where he researched and tested proposals for new investment products and analyzed public companies in several industries. Mr. Taubman is trained as an atmospheric scientist and was employed as a senior research scientist in both the private and public sectors. He has 5 years experience in computer modeling of atmospheric chemistry and global climate change processes.

Mr. Taubman holds a B.S. in atmospheric science from the University of California at Davis, an M.S. in meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. in finance and management from the Leonard M. Stern School of Business at New York University.
