Gregory Walters joined VCFA in 2004. He sources and performs analysis, evaluation, and due diligence related to the firm’s portfolio purchase opportunities. He also works on investment research and investment performance monitoring and reporting.

Prior to joining VCFA, Mr. Walters was a Principal at GMG Capital Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm. At GMG Capital, Mr. Walters sourced and evaluated early-stage investments, monitored portfolio companies and oversaw the internal operations of the fund. Mr. Walters also served as a corporate attorney at Proskauer Rose and Brown & Wood representing private equity funds in fund formations and investment transactions.

Mr. Walters holds a B.A. from Hamilton College, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and an M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School.
